Apple Device Specs and Model Numbers
Configurations, chips, model identifiers and model numbers for 124 Apple models, so you can identify exactly what you have before you sell.
Why the exact model matters
Apple often sells several versions of a device under the same name in the same year, with different chips, memory, storage or connectivity. Two "15-inch MacBook Pro" laptops, or two "iPad Air" tablets, can be worth very different amounts.
The model identifier (for example iMac21,1 or MacBookPro18,3) and the model number (an A-number such as A2442) pin down exactly which version you have. On a Mac, open Apple menu > About This Mac, or System Information. On an iPhone or iPad, open Settings > General > About. On an Apple Watch, use the Watch app on your iPhone.
Each specs page lists the configurations Apple sold, how to identify that model, and an instant quote tool set to it. Comparison pages show what separates neighboring models and which one is usually worth more.
