Sell your used iPhone the simple way

See your price online, ship free, and get paid once it passes inspection.

We buy working iPhones from the iPhone 11 onward, plus the iPhone SE. The quote tool only shows the storage and carrier options that exist for your model, and it checks eligibility before showing a price.

iPhones have more ways to be ineligible than other devices: Find My, Activation Lock, carrier blacklists and unpaid balances. We ask about each one up front, and check every IMEI before sending your shipping label.

Value

How much is my iPhone worth?

A model name alone doesn't set the price. Two iPhones from the same year can be worth very different amounts.

Model+Configuration+Condition+Functionality+Market demand=Your offer

We base offers on current resale demand for your exact configuration, then adjust for condition and anything that doesn't work.

Check my estimated value

iPhone trade-in value: what affects your offer?

Every offer starts from these factors. Your answers in the quote tool cover each one.

Model and year

Newer and Pro models hold the most value.

Storage

More storage raises the offer at every step.

Carrier lock

Unlocked phones earn more than carrier-locked or non-U.S. models.

Condition

Scratches and dents lower the offer gradually.

Screen and back glass

Cracked glass is the most common deduction.

Face ID or Touch ID

Biometrics that don't work are a large deduction.

Battery health

Below 80% or a service message reduces the offer.

Genuine parts

An "Unknown Part" message in Settings lowers the offer.

Carrier

Unlocked, carrier-locked or non-U.S.?

Unlocked iPhones can be resold to anyone, so they earn the most. Locked and non-U.S. models are still eligible at a lower offer.

UnlockedSettings > General > About shows "Carrier Lock: No SIM restrictions". Full offer.

Locked to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile or another U.S. carrierEligible if fully paid off with a clean IMEI. A smaller offer than unlocked.

Non-U.S. modelMade for another country (different A-number, often with a physical SIM tray). Eligible at a lower offer.

Unpaid balance or blacklistedNot eligible. Pay off the balance with your carrier first.

IMEI and blacklist

Why we check every IMEI

The IMEI is your iPhone's unique 15-digit number. Carriers use it to block phones reported lost, stolen or for non-payment.

We check it before sending your shipping label, so a blacklist problem never turns into a surprise after you've shipped.

  1. Find your IMEIDial *#06#, or open Settings > General > About and scroll to IMEI.
  2. Enter it in your quoteWe check the 15-digit format instantly to catch typos.
  3. We run a blacklist checkBefore your label is sent, we confirm the iPhone isn't blacklisted or financed.

Battery health

How battery health affects your offer

Check Settings > Battery > Battery Health for the Maximum Capacity.

Normal (80% or higher)No deduction.

Below 80%, or a service messageA partial deduction, because the battery needs replacing before resale.

Not sureNo deduction up front. We check it during inspection.

Swollen battery or lifting screenNot eligible for an instant quote. Don't charge or ship it; email us first.

Eligibility

Is my iPhone eligible?

We buy iPhones that work, belong to you and can be resold. If a mandatory check fails, we don't make an offer, and the quote tool tells you why before you ship anything.

What we buy

We buy functional Apple devices in a variety of conditions, including devices with normal wear and eligible damage, as long as they remain suitable for resale.

  • Used, older or unwanted iPhones that power on and work
  • Scratches, scuffs and minor dents
  • Some display issues, if the picture is fully usable
  • Repairable physical damage on a working iPhone
  • Single devices and business, school or office inventory

What we don't buy

We do not purchase completely non-working, blacklisted, lost or stolen, Activation Locked, counterfeit, or otherwise restricted devices that cannot be legally and reasonably resold.

  • Devices that won't power on or start up
  • Activation Locked, iCloud locked, or Find My still on
  • Lost, stolen, blacklisted or ownership-restricted devices
  • Company or school devices still under remote management
  • Counterfeit devices or ones missing essential parts
  • Devices damaged beyond economical resale
Functional+Legally eligible+Unrestricted+Resellable=Potentially eligible

How we grade your iPhone's condition

Choose the grade that matches the outside of your iPhone. Working problems are asked separately, so you're never marked down twice for the same thing.

Like New

No scratches or scuffs on the screen, back or frame.

Good

Light scratches you only notice up close. No cracks or dents.

Fair

Visible scratches or scuffs, or small dents on the frame.

Poor

Deep scratches, heavy scuffs or dents. Still fully working.

Damaged

Bent frame or heavy dents. Still powers on and works.

Not eligible

Won't power on, no usable picture, locked, liquid damaged. These can't get an instant quote.

Data security

How to wipe and prepare your iPhone before you sell

Do these steps before you pack it. They protect your data and make sure your iPhone passes the eligibility checks at inspection.

We securely erase every device we receive, even if you've already done it. If something's still signed in when it arrives, we'll contact you before going further.

  1. Back up your iPhoneUse iCloud Backup, or back up to a Mac or PC.
  2. Unpair your Apple WatchIf you have one, unpair it in the Watch app first so it isn't locked to this iPhone.
  3. Sign out of your Apple AccountSettings > your name > Sign Out. This turns off Find My iPhone and Activation Lock.
  4. Remove your SIM or eSIMTake out the SIM card, or ask your carrier how to transfer or remove your eSIM.
  5. Erase itSettings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Erase All Content and Settings.
  6. Pack it securelyUse the original box if you have it, or wrap it in padding inside a small sturdy box.

Sustainability

Give your Apple device another life

Selling a working device keeps it in use longer and reduces unnecessary electronic waste.

Reuse

Most devices we buy are cleaned, tested and resold to someone who needs one.

Refurbishment

Where a repair makes economic sense, devices are refurbished before resale.

Responsible recycling

Parts that can't be reused are recovered or recycled through e-waste recyclers.

Selling your iPhone: what to know

When to sell

iPhones lose value steadily, with bigger drops after each new lineup is announced. If you've already upgraded, selling sooner usually means a higher offer.

Repairs and genuine parts

Recent iOS versions show repair history in Settings > General > About > Parts and Service History. Genuine Apple repairs don't reduce your offer. A part flagged as "Unknown Part" does, because it can affect features and resale.

How inspection works

When your iPhone arrives, we confirm the model, storage and carrier, check that it's signed out with Find My off, run its IMEI, test the screen, Face ID or Touch ID, cameras, audio and charging, and check battery health. If something differs from your answers, we email a revised offer with the reasons. If you decline a revised offer, we ship your device back at no cost to you.

Shipping an iPhone safely

Remove any case and SIM card, wrap the phone in padding, and use a small sturdy box. Don't ship an iPhone with a swollen battery.

Sell my iPhone: frequently asked questions

How much is my iPhone worth?

It depends on the model, storage, carrier lock, condition, battery health and whether everything works. Use the quote tool for an estimate for your exact iPhone.

Which iPhones do you buy?

iPhone 11 through iPhone 17, including Pro, Pro Max, Plus, mini, Air and 16e models, plus the iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation).

Do you buy carrier-locked iPhones?

Yes, if the phone is fully paid off and the IMEI is clean. Locked phones earn a little less than unlocked ones.

Do you buy iPhones that aren't paid off?

Not yet. Phones with a carrier balance can be blacklisted later. Pay off the balance first, then get your quote.

Do you buy blacklisted iPhones?

No. An iPhone reported lost, stolen or for non-payment can't be used on U.S. networks or resold.

Do you buy non-working iPhones?

No. We do not currently purchase completely non-working devices, including iPhones that won't power on or have no working touchscreen.

Do you buy iPhones with a cracked screen?

Yes, if the picture and touch still work. Cracked screens and back glass reduce the offer.

Why do you need my IMEI?

We check every IMEI for blacklist and finance status before sending your label, so there are no surprises later.

How do I get paid?

You choose PayPal, Zelle or Bank transfer (ACH). We pay within 2 business days after your device passes inspection.

Not sure which model you have?

Check specs, configurations and model numbers before you sell.
