How to tell which iMac M4 you have
- Open the Apple menu and choose About This Mac. It shows "Apple M4" and the year 2024.
- Count the USB-C ports on the back: two ports means the 8-core model, four ports means the 10-core model.
- In System Information, the Model Identifier is Mac16,2 or Mac16,3.
